What are the technical requirements for using the site?

Web Browsers

The site has been optimised for Microsoft Windows Internet Explorer Version 7, however the site allows you to watch the previews in most common browsers e.g. Firefox 1.5+, Opera 9+, Safari 2+.

To watch a full film you will need to have Microsoft Internet Explorer Version 6 or higher on your PC in order for the digital rights management licensing to function. At present Full films can only be watched in Windows Media Player 10.

Media Players

The site is designed to use either Microsoft Media Player Version 10.

You may have to download one of these free media players in order to watch a full film.

Computers

At the present time you can only watch the full films using a PC. Macintosh computers can view the site but cannot watch the full length-films at present. This is a restriction caused by the copyright protection facility. We are currently investigating ways to allow viewing of full films on the Mac.

Internet Connection Speed

For slower line speeds it is recommended that you first download the film to your computer. In this way your slower line speed won’t spoil your enjoyment of the film.

Screen Size/Resolution

The site is designed to be viewed at a screen size of 1024 x 768. You may have to change the setting on your PC or Mac to accommodate this.

Full Screen Option

Both Film Clips and Full Films are viewable in full screen mode.
